What to Expect During Your Time at Fresh Start

From day one to graduation, here’s what life looks like inside our Christ-centered recovery program.

What daily life looks like

Fresh Start is intentionally designed to last 12 months, followed by a recommended 6-month aftercare plan. This full timeline is critical to long-term change — not just short-term sobriety.

  • Full-Time Work: Each client works a daytime job. Your paycheck is managed to teach budgeting and personal accountability.
  • Group & Individual Counseling: You’ll meet with staff to work through emotional wounds, character development, and recovery goals.
  • Classes & Devotionals: Mornings and evenings include faith-based teaching and life skills training.
  • Support Groups: You’ll participate in 12-Step meetings and other community-based recovery sessions.
  • Curfews & Schedules: Days are structured to promote stability, responsibility, and rest.
  • Chapel & Church: Weekly worship is central to your growth and healing.
