Program Overview

We have a residential aftercare program that a successful graduate can apply to. The residents receive accountability, community, and continued communication with their counselor and staff.

Fresh Start Ministries of Central Florida is a Christian, 12-month residential recovery program for men struggling with substance abuse and life-controlling issues. Residents live in a structured environment, work full-time, and participate in counseling, classes, and Bible study, progressing through phases that address addiction, personal growth, spirituality, and aftercare.

The program costs a $300 non-refundable entry fee plus $185 per week, which covers housing, meals, transportation, classes, counseling, evaluations, and drug screens.

Yes, family contact is allowed, but it’s structured — visits and phone calls are permitted at designated times once the participant has completed an initial adjustment period, helping them focus on recovery while still staying connected to loved ones.

No, you don’t have to already be a Christian to join, but Fresh Start Ministries is a faith-based program, and participants are expected to take part in Christian practices such as chapel, biblical teaching, and spiritual counseling as part of recovery.
